The boys all sing as part of Baggyrinkle, Swansea shantymen during the year, performing at shanty festivals and sea related events world wide.   During the winter we take a break from the shanties and bring out our carol sheets with songs from the folk and church traditions as well as a couple of contemporary ones for good measure.  We do allow women on board for the season, the good ladies and wives (or strumpets-voluntary as we like to call them!)  come along too.  A little dressing up adds to the festive flavour and so Baggy Cringle was born. 

Baggy-Cringle have performed all over Wales for it’s various council organised festive events as well as at some beautiful listed buildings and ancient monuments.  We have sung at private events including a wedding, cooperate christmas parties, schools, street markets and clubs. We are open to (almost!) all suggestions !
